This stately home has a grand Tudor hall and Elizabethan gardens.
A note from Jo & Rob
Haddon Hall is one of the finest examples of Medieval and Tudor architecture in the county and has the atmosphere to match. The skeletal drawings on the walls in the chapel are not to be missed. The café is a great brunch/lunch spot. Near Haddon are two river walks, from Over Haddon and up the River Lathkill to Monyash (The Old Smithy Café or Bulls Head Pub are good dining options) or park in Youlgreave and walk upstream (River Bradford) to Middleton. The Peak Feast Workshop in Youlgreave is a perfect café stop. Both river walks also have great picnic spots beside the pools and weirs.
